You will receive specialized training in emotional regulation, behaviour and classroom management, facilitating positive social interactions, de-escalation and conflict resolution. Through daily team meetings, hands on support and consistent training you will become confident in your leadership style and more knowledgeable in the field.
Our staff are often university students in child related studies or folks who simply want a part time position that works with their schedule. This can be a stepping stone into a fulfilling career or a place to settle in, either way, we want to be a positive part of your journey to finding what inspires you with in the field!

As a licensed child care facility all staff members must provide the following:
Consent to process a criminal record check
First Aid & CPR
20 hours of related education (ECEA certificate, responsible adult certificate, school transcript or relevant training courses)
Must be over the age of 19

As a non profit and community program we value the generosity of our volunteers, parent helpers and the students who offer their time.
