Here’s a quick glance at our program offerings:

  • Our before and after school care program is our largest offering, currently serving over 120 students.

    Children enjoy a balance of planned activities, free time, and supervised play until they are signed out at pick-up.

    To register for before and after school care, your child must be enrolled at Sir James Douglas Elementary. This program is open to students in Grades K-5.

  • This four-hour program offers children an opportunity to play, learn, and build new relationships in a safe and nurturing environment.

    Our educators thoughtfully plan and offer children activities, experiences, and learning opportunities that inspire curiosity and expose students to a variety of topics that enhance holistic development.

    This program is intended for children 2.5-4.5 years old.

  • This six-hour program runs concurrently with the hours of SJD Elementary and offers children skills for school readiness by mimicking the flow and structure of a kindergarten classroom. This program is designed to support children in developing socially, emotionally and acedamically to ensure a succesful transition into elementary school.

    Our programming is guided by feedback from Kindergarten Teachers, our unique curriculum, and the ever-evolving interests of the children currently enrolled. Daily, children participate in planned learning activities focused on language, problem-solving, and playful experiences that build curiosity and confidence.

    This program is intended for children in their final year before Kindergarten.

  • SJD OSC offers full day camps in spring and summer where children engage in weekly themed activities, projects, and trips.

    Registration opens in January and April with limited slots available.
